First, I would like to congratulate the Sayville 10-year old Williamsport Team on winning the 2010 District 35 championship. We beat every team going undefeated in district-play and advanced to the sectional region where we once again advanced into pool-play to get to the state championship. We came up a few games short but played like true champions do. This group of young men is the future of Sayville baseball and the future is very bright! I would like to thank Sayville Little League and all the parents, grandparents and all the fans who supported us during this magical run. In closing, the coaches would once again like to thank each and every player for a great tournament.
